Anandam Association, an association of like-minded people drawn from various social strata of Pune has been engaged in number of social activities since its inception nineteen years back from now. Anandam celebrates festivals like Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Sarawaswati Puja, Bengali New Year, Holi, to name a few, to bring the Bengali community of Wanowrie under one roof.

Anandam Association is proud to be celebrating the twenty first (21st ) year of Durga Puja this year. On average over 10,000 people, from different parts of Pune, from various communities, visits our Pandal during the Durga Puja celebration.

Starting from Maha Panchami (27th Sep, 2025) with Anandamela (Bengali Food Festival). Maha Shasthi (28th Sep, 2025) starts with 'Devi Bodhan' unveiling the Goddess. Maha Saptami (29th Sep, 2025), Maha Asthami (30th Sep, 2025) & Maha Navami (1st Oct, 2025) are the days when main puja will be performed along with Pushpanjali, Aarti, etc. Bhog-Prasad is served on the puja days. The festivity will end on Vijaya Dashami (2nd Oct, 2025). Arrangements have been planned for various cultural programmes in the evenings.
